I moved into Villa Serena a mere 2 ½ weeks ago. This is my first Independent Living experience and oh boy, do they have it “just right” here at Villa Serena. I must say that I have not met one single person that is not happy here. The fact that everyone is almost always smiling rates high on my list of expectations. The whole staff is simply wonderful, everyone from Maintenance, Housekeepers, and the Kitchen. And then, there is the food! So many choices and always so fresh and hot. It’s literally like going to a fine restaurant three times a day. In my opinion, I don’t think I could do better anywhere else. Villa Serena is the best!

I have enjoyed living here for more than 22 years and have found Villa Serena a wonderful place to live out my Retirement years. The Management and Staff here are wonderful. They provide a warm, welcoming, and positive environment for everyone and they are always ready to help. The beautifully landscaped grounds and outdoor seating areas keep me motivated to walk and get my daily exercise. Although I don’t have a pet myself, I’m happy that Residents are able to bring their pets and that there is a small dog-park area. I am living in a one bedroom apartment that has a fully equipped kitchen with lots of cabinet space and a walk-in pantry and walk- in bedroom closet. I’m grateful to have my apartment cleaned weekly. I also really appreciate having a wearable emergency button that I can push at any time no matter where I am on the property. That makes me feel so safe. The meals here are not only varied and delicious but also nutritious with lots of options to choose from at each meal. We have an on-site beauty salon for men and women. Our Activity Director puts out a monthly calendar with a wide variety of activities to choose from and she is always open to suggestion from Residents. We have a van to take us on shopping trips as well as to Doctor appointments. These are just a few of the many things I’m grateful for here at Villa Serena.

I have been a Resident of Villa Serena for a little over 7 years. I feel there is no better place to live during my Retirement years. The grounds here are beautiful and welcoming, the Management and staff are very accommodating and the Residents are extremely friendly and caring. It’s like one big family. Three delicious home cooked meals a day and a variety of on going activities if you wish to partake. I feel very safe and secure. This is home! What more could I ask for!

I was immediately impressed by the grounds when I first arrived for my tour of Villa Serena. I am now in my 10th year at Villa Serena and I still enjoy the grounds, variety of activities led by our creative Activity Director, size of the apartments with ample closet space, three appropriate and tasty meals, transportation, the special dinners for family members and friends, birthday celebrations and most of all the willingness to accommodate by staff and management. I am particularly appreciative of the lack of staff turnover. Living at Villa Serena feels like living with family.
